Head to Gold River. From there, if you are towing a boat of at least 17 feet, the paved Gold River launch allows you to navigate via Muchalat Inlet. Otherwise, continue on the unpaved logging road toward Tahsis to Cougar Creek or Critter Landing at Galliano Bay (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes), where the team will meet you at the dock.

You can fish in calm, protected inland waters or head to the Pacific Ocean just eight miles away. Whether you bring your own boat or use a rental, everything is provided including moorage services. For accommodation, you will find chalets, a cottage, a beach house, cabins, suites, or lodge rooms.

Territory and geography

The resort is established in Nootka Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The territory is characterized by a vast sheltered maritime network, surrounded by dense forests and bordered by the Conuma Hatchery. The calm inland waters are ideal for navigation while being only 8 miles from the open Pacific. Access to the territory is by sea from Gold River or via gravel logging roads, punctuated by one-lane bridges, leading to the Cougar Creek and Galliano Bay landings.
