Lake Oskélanéo — Domaine d'Oskelaneo

Lake Oskelaneo is a historical body of water in Upper Mauricie located south of the Gouin Reservoir, in the Clova area. Discovered in the early 20th century during surveying work, it is closely tied to the region's development and the arrival of the transcontinental railway. This natural lake and its connected river form a vast wilderness environment suitable for outdoor recreation and sport fishing. The waters are home to walleye and northern pike, while the surrounding forests support diverse wildlife including moose, black bear, and small game.
