Domaine D'Oskélanéo is an outfitter tucked deep in the forest at Clova (La Tuque), on the site of a historic ghost village whose name appears on a map as early as 1831 and which served as a gateway to the Chibougamau mining region in the 1920s-30s. Walleye is king here, supported by a natural spawning ground on site and 20 km of river for walleye and pike fishing. Très bonne pourvoirie, très bon service, équipements très bien. Variétés de lacs et rivières très adaptée. Lacs pas trop grands et sécuritaire par vents forts.

Très beau endroit, un vrai petit coin de paradis. Chalet très propre et que dire de l'accueil de Patrice et Nadine, des gens très serviables et à l'écoute de leur clientèle. Et en plus on a pogné du beau poisson. Merci Patrice et Nadine.

J'ai récemment passé quatre jours et trois nuits (du lundi soir au vendredi matin) au Domaine D’Oskélanéo avec mon père et mes trois neveux adolescents. J'ai 32 ans, et nous avons séjourné dans un chalet de 9 places, amplement suffisant pour que nous puissions tous dormir très confortablement. Patrice, notre guide, était fantastique. Il nous a montré les bases de la pêche sur le lac et nous a guidés vers tous les meilleurs spots. Cet endroit est un véritable paradis pour les passionnés de pêche. Entre nous cinq, nous avons facilement attrapé entre 12 et 15 poissons, principalement du brochet et trois dorés. Les brochets pesaient tous plus de 2 livres et étaient excellents pour les repas. Les bateaux à moteur étaient formidables, et le système de bouées dans la rivière et les lacs était facile à suivre. Le site dispose également d'une cabine d'éviscération où nous pouvions préparer nos poissons, ce qui était incroyablement pratique. La seule chose que je noterais est que l'eau chaude était intermittente. Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une expérience incroyable, et nous avons passé un moment merveilleux. Merci au Domaine D’Oskélanéo d'avoir rendu notre séjour mémorable !
