Domaine Le Pic-Bois is a family-run outfitter (the Lavoie family) tucked into the Charlevoix forest, in the foothills of Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie national park, at Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs. On an exclusive 840-hectare territory that is yours for the length of your stay, you can fish for brook trout in summer or ice-fish in winter, hunt moose on an exclusive basis in fall (a single party on the Domain), and take a guided black-bear observation excursion (reservation required, over 95% success rate). Wow ! Quelle belle expérience de pêche blanche. Accueillis chaleureusement par toute l’équipe, on est repartis la glacière remplie de superbes truites. Vraiment un endroit magnifique. Très chaudement recommandée.

Mon activité coup de coeur lors de nos vacances au Québec ! Etant fan de nature j'avais hâte de voir les ours noirs dans leur habitat naturel et nous avons été servis ! Un poste d'observation au top au bout de 10 minutes de marche et là une vision telle un film de Disney, à peine installés, on a pu voir 2 renards, des dizaines d'écureuils, oiseaux bouger devant nous avant l'arrivée de nos ours tant attendus ! Nous n'avons pas été déçus, 7 ours au total sont passés nous voir, un plaisir pour un fan de photo comme moi ! Le tout sous les explications avisées et très passionnées de notre guide Antoine ! Un expérience hors du commun pour contempler la nature au plus près sans déranger la faune sauvage !

Très bonne expérience : nous avons fait l’activité des ours et nuitée dans un chalet ! Tout d’abord, l’expérience avec les ours est très intéressante. On apprend énormément de choses sur leurs fonctionnements, et on découvre également comment cela est possible que les ours en liberté viennent tous les jours à la même heure pour manger les friandises. Concernant le chalet, super. Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec mon conjoint. Très fonctionnel, propre et le personnel nous a aidé afin d’allumer le feu (merci encore!!). Nous espérons revenir un jour ☺️

Une expérience inoubliable dans la nature sauvage de Charlevoix ! Un guide passionné nous a d’abord plongés dans l’univers de l’ours noir et nous a donné beaucoup d’explications. Puis nous avons accédé à un mirador apres une marche en forêt d’environ 15 minutes. Les ours sont rapidement venus à moins de 20 m, certains accompagnés de leurs oursons : magique ! L’encadrement était très rassurant et professionnel. Une activité essentielle pour les amoureux de la faune — vraiment un must à faire !
