The McKay family has been guiding guests for seven generations in search of all salmon species and halibut, aboard 26-foot aluminum vessels. Notre séjour au McKay Bay Lodge a été absolument merveilleux. Nous étions juste ma fille et moi, et je n'ai pas assez de mots pour exprimer à quel point notre expérience a été formidable. Un grand merci à Sasha, dont les repas étaient tout simplement exceptionnels. Elle a été très attentionnée et a su s'adapter aux goûts très difficiles de ma fille. Les plats que j'ai dégustés étaient parmi les meilleurs que j'aie jamais mangés en vacances. Franchement, je n'ai jamais aussi bien mangé en voyage. L'emplacement est magnifique, au bord de l'eau, ce qui a rendu notre séjour paisible et inoubliable. De plus, c'était très pratique : il suffit de leur envoyer un message et ils viennent vous chercher à l'est de Bamfield. Il y a plein d'activités à faire, même si vous n'êtes pas là pour la pêche, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour les familles comme pour les passionnés de pêche. Je recommande vivement !

Ce lodge de pêche est exceptionnel et nous y retournerons l'année prochaine. Brian, Cheryl et Mel gèrent un lodge de première classe. Marina et Sacha nous ont préparé d'excellents repas. La qualité, la variété et la présentation des dîners étaient remarquables. Les paniers-repas pour le bateau nous ont permis de bien démarrer nos journées de pêche. Nous étions sept à pêcher, accompagnés de Dan et Rob comme guides. Ils ont été formidables ! Nous avons atteint les quotas de toutes les espèces. Ils nous ont donné de précieux conseils de pêche et connaissaient tous les meilleurs coins. Je recommande vivement ce complexe. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable et le personnel s'est montré extrêmement serviable et disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions et demandes. Vous ne serez pas déçus !

J'ai passé un super moment à nager. Il y avait un barbecue déjà installé, qu'on a allumé avec du charbon de bois pour nourrir 14 personnes. Les autres personnes présentes étaient vraiment sympas et on a partagé le repas avec elles. On a bien rigolé, c'était un super endroit.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour au McKay Bay Lodge, et encore meilleur en pêchant le saumon. Tout le personnel était exceptionnel. Notre guide de pêche, Greg, était formidable ; il nous a aidés à remplir la glacière et s'est assuré que nous passions un bon moment. Une expérience parfaite !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits au chalet Forestview avec 5 autres adultes. Le chalet était parfaitement équipé et offrait même plus que nécessaire. Les chambres étaient joliment décorées, propres et confortables. Chaque chambre disposait d'une salle de bain privative, un atout considérable. Nous avons amarré notre bateau et le personnel s'est occupé de nous et de tous nos bagages jusqu'au chalet à notre arrivée et à notre départ. Nous étions venus pêcher et un espace congélateur était mis à notre disposition. L'ambiance était familiale, détendue et chaleureuse. Nous avons pris 3 repas au lodge et la nourriture ainsi que le personnel étaient excellents. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine !
