Fishing Storie Charters exceeded all our expectations. From our very first contact with Jason, everything was absolutely exceptional. We booked our trip on a whim and, despite the short notice, everything was perfectly organized. Jason was incredibly friendly, responsive, and attentive, providing exceptional service from start to finish. Our guide, Trevor, made the experience even more memorable. Knowledgeable, funny, and patient, he immediately put us at ease. He explained everything clearly, guided us throughout the day, and helped us catch three magnificent salmon. It was an unforgettable experience! The organization was flawless, the equipment excellent, and you could really feel that the team truly cares about their clients' well-being. What a great fishing experience with Fishing Storie Charters and Captain Jason! We spent 5 hours fishing out of Campbell River and brought back between 25 and 30 salmon, including a record specimen of 10 to 11 kg. We highly recommend this trip if you are on Vancouver Island.

If you're going fishing on Vancouver Island, Jason is your man. I booked with him last summer and we had a great trip on opening day for sockeye salmon fishing. I came back with my two sons in late December for winter Chinook salmon fishing and it was undoubtedly one of our best fishing days ever. We caught three huge fish and Jason had already set out the prawn traps, allowing us to eat like kings all day long. For late December, we had a beautiful day on the water, but Jason's boat is fully covered and it was very warm inside. Another highlight: Jason live-streamed the entire day at sea, which allowed my son's friends on the East Coast to join us. They even got to see the whale we spotted about twenty metres away. Once again, Jason and his crew are truly exceptional, and he gave us unforgettable memories. We will definitely be back this summer to catch even more salmon and have another memorable day!
