Foghorn Fishing Charters offers guided salmon and halibut fishing excursions off Victoria and Sooke, at the southern end of Vancouver Island. Operated by Captain Gordon Martin for over twenty years, the service takes up to four passengers aboard a 25-foot Wellcraft boat, Transport Canada certified. Thanks to the region's mild climate, half-day or full-day outings take place year-round. Equipment, cleaning, and packaging of catches are included, with frequent whale sightings at sea.

The fishing territory extends into the Pacific Ocean waters surrounding Victoria and Sooke, at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Protected by a coastal landscape bordered by mountains, the area enjoys Canada's mildest climate, allowing for year-round fishing. Outings take place along the coast or on offshore halibut banks. These rich coastal waters serve as a migration path for five species of salmon and host abundant marine life, regularly offering opportunities to observe orcas and humpback whales during the trips.
