You will navigate in 18-foot Lund boats equipped with 40 hp Yamaha engines, fish finders, coolers, and padded seats. On-site, enjoy a warm welcome, home-cooked meals, and a friendly atmosphere in the middle of pristine nature where bald eagles and moose roam.

Je ne garde que de merveilleux souvenirs de mon séjour à God's Lake et des 274 jours passés à Elk Island, à longer toute la rive : vers l'ouest jusqu'à la rivière, vers le sud jusqu'à Shamattwa, puis vers le nord jusqu'au lodge… Fermé il y a plusieurs années, il sert désormais de poste de chasse aux habitants de Gods River. God's Lake porte bien son nom ! J'ai eu la chance de me faire de nombreux amis parmi les locaux et les nombreux visiteurs au fil des ans… J'ai même possédé un quart des parts d'Elk Island Lodge pendant plusieurs années !

Il y a 53 ans, j'étais l'un des trois garçons à gagner un séjour de pêche de dix jours, tous frais payés, au lac God's Lake. Les deux autres garçons étaient partis avec leurs pères, et moi avec mon grand-père. Nous étions entièrement équipés et avons rencontré Lou Epinger, dont l'entreprise, Daredevil Lures, sponsorisait le concours. Je ne garde que de merveilleux souvenirs du lac God's Lake, de ses paysages, de ses odeurs, de la pêche incroyable et des personnes qui ont rendu cette expérience inoubliable.

J'habite à Gods Lake, c'est le meilleur endroit. Avant, j'habitais en Chine, mais j'ai appris à écrire et à parler anglais. Ici, il y a plein de belles maisons et de jolis jardins, c'est vraiment agréable.
