If you're looking to have a great time fishing, Dave is the best around. Believe me, he really is the best. Experience, passion, personality, and knowledge are just a few of his qualities. He goes above and beyond for his clients. I highly recommend him. Salmon, halibut, or crab, he's the best. He's a local legend.

Wow! What an extraordinary day on the water! Captain Dave and Josh were knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, and very pleasant. Captain Dave maneuvered with great experience despite the rough seas, bringing all seven of us to the best fishing spot. No sooner were our lines in the water, we started reeling in halibut. We caught sight of orcas putting on a magnificent show and, in the distance, humpback whales. The snow-capped mountains created an idyllic backdrop for this perfect day.

My wife and I had a great stay with Dave in August 2019. We have been on fishing trips with guides all over the world and Dave was one of the best, as much for his knowledge and professionalism as for his endearing and interesting personality. We caught two magnificent 9 kg salmon each. Living far away (in Florida), we followed Dave's advice and dropped the fish off at a sporting goods store in Victoria. They were then processed by St. Jeans and shipped via FedEx. They arrived in perfect condition and even our dog was thrilled to receive them. I highly recommend his services.
