For nearly 50 years, Hearst Air Service has been offering fly-in adventure trips to the remote areas of Northern Ontario. The company operates seven secluded camps perfect for walleye, northern pike, and yellow perch fishing, as well as brook trout expeditions on the Sutton River. On the hunting side, it offers full-service packages or drop-off camps for DIY moose hunting. We had an exceptional fishing trip with Hearst Air Service! From takeoff to return, everything was perfect. The round-trip flights were pleasant and scenic, a great way to start and end our adventure. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped. Wanzatika Lake is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking sunrises every morning, which made getting up early truly worth it. The heat was intense during our stay, but the fishing was incredible: we caught an impressive amount of fish and there was action every day. We ran into a small issue on Wednesday because our supplies and ice didn't arrive as planned. We were ready to make do, but Hearst Air Service showed great kindness by delivering them to us on Thursday, which was especially appreciated given the heat. Mel was wonderful, and the rest of the staff was just as friendly and helpful. Their customer service and commitment to making sure we had a great stay were remarkable. We can't wait to book another fly-in trip with Hearst Air Service and maybe even try another lake next time. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure!

This was my eighth consecutive year with Hearst Air and I feel like it's only the beginning. Mel and her team are truly exceptional. Great pilots, a welcoming and knowledgeable crew, and everything from booking to the return trip was simple and hassle-free. We just got back from their outpost lake renowned for trophy pike (Napken Lake Outpost) and it was an unforgettable trip. Besides the fantastic camp, we caught hundreds of fish, including three specimens over a metre long. My trip for next year is already booked!

I've been traveling with Hearst Air for years, and our group just got back from our latest stay at the Napkin Lake outpost. It was incredible! We caught fish in abundance, with no downtime at all. Plenty of walleye and nice pike, several of which measured between 90 and 110 cm. The camp is well equipped (like all outposts of this type) and the boats and motors ran perfectly. Mel and her team do a great job of making sure everything runs smoothly and that your trip is unforgettable.
