For nearly 50 years, Hearst Air Service has been offering fly-in adventure trips to the remote areas of Northern Ontario. The company operates seven secluded camps perfect for walleye, northern pike, and yellow perch fishing, as well as brook trout expeditions on the Sutton River. On the hunting side, it offers full-service packages or drop-off camps for DIY moose hunting. Rustic camp accommodations are equipped with propane refrigerators and stoves, wood stoves, and kitchen equipment.
The territory covered spans the vast wilderness of Northern Ontario and the James Bay and Hudson Bay lowlands. The fishing and hunting camps are located on remote lakes featuring great aquatic diversity, ranging from weed bays and sandy beaches to rocky outcrops and deep pools reaching 40 feet. Access to the territories and rivers such as the Sutton and Attawapiskat is only possible by air. This isolation ensures a preserved natural environment in the heart of Ontario's boreal forest.
