Ronnie took my two grandsons, aged 12 and 9, and myself fishing on the Cowichan River. They caught a brown trout, a rainbow trout, and a steelhead trout, and they were over the moon. We understood, but we were still sad to have to release them, as we would have loved to eat them tonight. The conservation lesson was nonetheless valuable, and Ronnie's fishing and casting advice will serve them for the rest of their lives. A big thank you to you, Ronnie, for your patience and kindness.

I spent five days fishing for rainbow trout with Ron and my two friends. It was a great experience thanks to Ron's expertise and experience as a guide, as well as his patience in teaching us the techniques specific to these fish and this river. We landed some great catches, spent hours in magnificent scenery, and had some great laughs. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful accommodation! A cozy cabin by the river. Dave made sure we had everything we needed to have a great week. There was even wood for campfires, during which we listened to the murmur of the river. We will be back!
