La Pourvoirie du lac Oscar, in La Tuque in the Haute-Mauricie, is a vast 234 km² natural territory run by the Farrar family, who acquired it in 1987 — a territory then reachable only by floatplane and today reached by car. In the heart of zone 26, it brings together white-pine chalets on the water, eight trout lakes and the majestic Réservoir Blanc, navigable over more than 80 km. Anglers fish brook trout and lake trout on the trout lakes, walleye and pike on Réservoir Blanc, with family packages and new chalets (2022-2023) designed for 2 to 4 people. On
the hunting side: moose across large exclusive sectors (12 to 28 km²), small game (partridge, spruce grouse, hare) and, in spring, bear over guided baited sites. The outfitter also offers a wellness retreat (meditation, conscious breathing and Qi Gong) and outdoor activities — kayak, paddleboard, hiking trails and sand beaches. The fully equipped chalets (kitchen, BBQ, private beach) run on propane and solar power; the water is not potable.

Nous revenons de la pourvoirie du Lac Oscar mon fils de 12 ans et moi. Nous avons beaucoup aimé, malgré une température trop chaude pour la pêche, nous avons réussi à tirer notre épingle du jeu avec quelques belles prises. Les installations sont bien. Le personnel est attentionné. Pas trop de pêcheurs sur les lacs. Endroit tranquille.

Notre deuxième visite à cette pourvoirie et toujours très satisfait des services offerts , de l’accueil de la propreté des chalets, et de la gentillesse du personnel. Cette année, un ajout fort apprécié, est le service de gardien dans notre secteur de pêche ( forfait A ) et l’accès au WIFI , en cas d’urgence, à proximité des chalets. La pourvoirie continue d’améliorer les services et rendre notre séjour des plus agréable. Bravo à Léa, Sébastien et Isabelle de nous offrir un si bel environnement.

Un séjour incroyable, magnifique chalet le diamant sur un lac qui a beaucoup de truite nous avons aucun mal faire notre quotas. Le personnel super accueillant et des passionnés de pêche et nature. J'ai essayé plusieurs pourvoirie et cela devient mon coup coeur à découvrir pour débutant et expert.

La Pourvoirie du Lac Oscar nous a complètement charmés et nous reviendrons, c’est assuré! Que ce soit par la disponibilité et la serviabilité de toute l’équipe ou la propreté et le confort des cabines, nous n’avons absolument aucun commentaire négatif à faire. Les chaloupes à notre disposition étaient remplies d’essence, il y avait du bois à profusion et les gens à la réception furent toujours plus qu’heureux de nous aider et répondre à nos questions. Nous avons été très satisfaits de nos journées de pêche ainsi que l’équipement fourni (une table avec lavabo est mise à votre disposition au bord du lac même!). Un guide de la Pourvoirie a pu nous accompagner le premier jour et nous a montré tous leurs plus beaux endroits à découvrir, pour la pêche et les paysages. La Pourvoirie du Lac Oscar vaut définitivement le trajet. Merci encore à toute votre formidable équipe!
