Located at Gouin Reservoir, in the Rivière de la Galette area, near Parent, the Les Chalets Gouin outfitter offers access via forest roads. From Mont-Laurier, the route goes via Route 309 North to Parent, then follows the signs to the outfitter. From La Tuque, access is via Route 25, then Route 22.

Fishing there is especially associated with walleye, northern pike, and brook trout. The site is also ideal for observing wildlife.
