The site includes a main lodge as well as remote camps available in American plan or light housekeeping options. Anglers target Walleye, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout within the Laurie River system. A team of 16 guides accompanies guests on the water, providing shore lunches and fly-in excursions to neighboring lakes. The establishment also offers spring bear hunting trips.
Territory and geography
Established in Manitoba's Far North, the Laurie River Lodge territory centers on McGavock Lake, occupying a narrow passage between the north and south sections of the water body. The site provides direct access to the first 40 miles of the Laurie River water system. This wild and highly isolated environment is characterized by its many surrounding lakes, accessible via floatplane excursions.
