Lake Brûlé — Le Manoir Brûlé

Lake Brûlé is the largest body of water in the Seigneurie de Beaupré, located on private land owned by the Séminaire de Québec since 1662, in the heart of the highest peaks of the Laurentians at an altitude of approximately 2,700 feet. Easily accessible without portaging via a safe road network, this lake is the primary water body of Pourvoirie Le Manoir Brûlé. Fishing activities run from late May to mid-October and focus mainly on brook trout (speckled trout), including native populations ranging from 8 to 15 inches as well as stocked fish measuring up to 24 inches. Thanks to the cool water temperatures maintained by the high elevation throughout the summer, both fly fishing and light-tackle spin fishing are exceptionally rewarding. Safe 16-foot boats equipped with motors, oars, and anchors are provided for anglers. The main lodge, Le Manoir, features a veranda with an unobstructed view of Lake Brûlé, allowing guests to fully enjoy a peaceful and preserved natural environment.
