You will find outstanding walleye and northern pike fishing on Upper and Lower Twin Lakes, as well as the opportunity to catch brook trout in nearby rivers. The site also offers black bear, moose, and grouse hunting. You will stay in comfortable, renovated self-catering cabins or at the campground.
Located just north of the Ontario road network in Nakina, the property extends over a vast boreal territory on the shores of Upper and Lower Twin Lakes, connected by the Drowning River. This shallow sector is characterized by bays, sandy beaches, weed beds, and rocky points. The Pete's Bay sanctuary promotes fish spawning. Beyond the site, the wild forest is crisscrossed by many old logging roads, burns, hunting trails, and rivers fed by cold, pure water springs, creating an isolated environment favorable to wildlife.
