This wild and very remote region is characterized by a vast network of rivers and deep lakes, notably the Ogoki and Drowning River systems. It features major bodies of water like Kagianagami Lake, which reaches depths of over 300 feet. No road access serves these 17 lakes, ensuring complete isolation accessible only by air.
