I've been visiting this lodge since 2019… Despite the long drive (over 12 hours), the wilderness atmosphere is always a plus, especially with friends. You can fish for various species: all types of trout, pike, walleye, whitefish, and perch. The welcome and kindness of James and his daughter Kate are exceptional.

If you want to fish, prepare for a little effort (carrying the motors, nothing too heavy, carrying the boats a few metres to the water, etc.). That being said, this effort seems trivial once you're alone on a lake with completely untouched shores (no cabins, docks, etc.), with bald eagles soaring above you and the incessant call of loons. The fishing is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it. Really. The place is simply beautiful. I repeat: beautiful. The owners and staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly!

After more than 24 years at Lukinto Lake Lodge, Tony and I are still amazed by the magnificence of this place! Linda and Danny have created such an exceptional place that words aren't enough to describe it! Impeccable cabins, magnificent lakes, top-notch equipment, and two absolutely charming hosts. We stay there three weeks every year and it's always hard to leave! You don't know what you're missing if you don't give it a try!

We have taken our family fishing there twice. The guides are excellent for the area. We caught good amounts of walleye, pike, and a few perch. The countryside and wilderness are beautiful. You have to be ready to put in some physical effort to load and unload the boat, motor, and gear. We love the rustic feel of the place. Our family has been fishing there since the late 1950s. The cabins feature running hot water, private bathrooms with showers, nice kitchens, and are very clean. The owners are lovely hosts. My kids also really enjoyed the lodge's rare sandy beach.
