Lord, have mercy! If you are looking for the ultimate fly-in fishing trip in Canada, head straight to Maynard Lake Lodge! We just spent four days out in the wild, and I assure you every single kilometer was worth it. The walleye fishing here is quite simply unbelievable. Whether under a blazing sun or gathering clouds, the fish were biting like crazy! We caught absolutely magnificent specimens that had us grinning from ear to ear from start to finish. The lake is splendid, quiet and peaceful – a true haven of peace. But believe me, the only thing that surpasses the fishing is the warm welcome from the owners. Their hospitality is second to none. They have comfortable, top-of-the-line boats that make long days on the water very enjoyable, and the staff treats you like family. They really go out of their way to make sure you're at your best and finding the best fishing spots. Coming back to a cozy cabin after a long day of fishing was the icing on the cake. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and we are already looking forward to going back. A huge thank you to the whole team at Maynard Lake for their warm hospitality!
