Anchored in a peaceful bay of Nootka Sound, Nootka Wilderness Lodge is a floating accommodation offering fully guided fishing trips on the west coast of Vancouver Island. From June to September, cruise the ocean aboard Grady White boats to catch Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. After a day at sea, enjoy attentive hospitality: appetizers on the dock, three-course gourmet meals prepared by a private chef, a lounge with a fireplace, and full processing services for your catch.

Territory and geography

Located in a sheltered bay in the heart of Nootka Sound, on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island, the territory is accessible only by air or sea. Surrounded by the vast Pacific Ocean, old-growth forests, and the proximity of Strathcona Provincial Park, this isolated sector is known as the "Salmon Corridor." The presence of baitfish schools and reef structures provides an exceptional habitat for pelagic and bottom fish. Access is by floatplane directly to the floating complex.
