Your hosts, Dave and Wendy Paton, welcome you to a wilderness setting renowned for its exceptional walleye and northern pike fishing. Accommodations consist of cabins located on Picnic Island and at the Onaman North camp, the only establishments on this vast body of water. The experience offers total immersion in nature, where it is common to spot woodland caribou, moose, and bear.
Onaman Lake is a vast and highly picturesque body of water covering over 11,600 hectares, measuring approximately 6 miles wide by 17 miles long. Located in Ontario's Zone 7 near Nakina, this remote wilderness territory is dotted with numerous islands, rocky reefs, and weed beds ideal for aquatic wildlife. As the only establishment on the entire lake, the site is accessible by plane. The surrounding region offers an exceptional natural landscape inhabited by woodland caribou, moose, and bear.
