Lake Husky — Pourvoirie du Lac Husky

Lake Husky is a large wilderness body of water located at the 50th parallel, approximately 200 kilometers north of Dolbeau-Mistassini in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. This headwater lake extends over 8 kilometers in length and feeds the Mistassibi River. It offers excellent brook trout fishing in a preserved boreal environment. Directly accessible by vehicle via a logging road reaching kilometer 189, the lake accommodates motorboats, rowboats, and rental pontoons to explore its vast waters. Lakefront lodging includes the main Mitcikogan lodge for American plan stays as well as the fully equipped Jishkogan cabin for European plan stays. The surrounding territory is also well-suited for moose hunting, ATV and snowmobile excursions, and various outdoor activities year-round.
