The outfitter

Set in the Haute-Côte-Nord region, about 60 km north of Forestville, Pourvoirie La Rocheuse occupies a 94.5 km² exclusive-rights territory of mountains, lakes and breathtaking scenery. Its lakes brim with wild brook trout of 15 to 35 cm — the large lakes reachable by car and the smaller ones by ATV — from ice-out (late May) to mid-September. The territory also offers spring black-bear hunting (June 1–20), moose hunting from mid-September to mid-October (exclusive territories, a limit of one moose per 4 hunters) and small-game hunting (partridge and hare) in the fall.
