With more than 100 years of history behind it, the estate has some fifty small lakes teeming with native brook trout and two large bodies of water — Lac des Sables and Lac Paradis — where brook trout share the water with Arctic char, the outfitter's pride: this Quebec red trout (marstoni), a freshwater Arctic char locked in by the glaciers thousands of years ago, is a hard-fighting trophy fish with a 10-pound record to beat.
You can fish on the American plan (with one of the best tables in the backcountry, 3 gourmet meals a day), on the self-sufficient European plan, or in an ATV formula to reach the more remote lakes. The outfitter also offers moose hunting in zone 18 East (cutover terrain, baited sites, a 65-85% success rate) and bear hunting in the Lac Caribou sector. Lodging is in 18 solar-powered cabins, with 3 RV sites as well, plus beaches, a children's playground, and a convenience shop selling fishing tackle, worms and gas.
Pourvoirie Club Lac des Sables et Paradis is located in Bergeronnes, on the Côte-Nord, just 15 minutes from the Tadoussac ferry. Boasting over 100 years of history, it was first managed from father to son by the Jobin family of Quebec City. It was later taken over by Roméo Deschênes, father of Jacques Deschênes. Très belle pourvoirie! Notre chalet était propre à notre arrivée. Employés réceptifs à nos demandes. Électricité solaire dans les chalets. Belle place pour décrocher, pas de réseau. Belles pistes de quatre roues, nous avons pu en faire pendant 4h non stop. Très beaux paysages.

Les chalets ne sont pas très bien entretenus… c’est la seule chose négative. pour la pêche, il faut des équipements spéciaux et nous n’étions pas bien équipé, nous aurions dû nous renseigner avant !!!!! par contre pour s’évader c’est un bel endroit. On se retrouve seul comme sur une île déserte c’est un pur plaisir. Le personnel est très gentil et a l’écoute. À essayer même si tout n’est pas parfait ☺️

La pourvoirie des Lacs Sable et Paradis a étéune découverte en bordure de la route 138, à peine 4 kilomètres de route et un paradis s’ouvre devant nos yeux. L’équipe est très serviable et à notre écoute. Quant à Louise Tremblay la propriétaire, elle fait légende tellement elle est dédiée à ce lieu. Belle pêche et belles rencontres!
