Lake Clair — Moose Territory Lodge

Clair Lake is one of six designated lakes on the territory offering fishing for speckled trout. The brook trout in these waters average between 2 and 5 lbs, with trophy specimens caught up to 7 or 8 lbs. The peak fishing period occurs two to three weeks after ice-out, from mid-May through the end of June. Worm harnesses with orange beads and small trout lures under two inches long are effective techniques. The daily catch limit is five speckled trout.
