We had a wonderful time! We took the boat out early in the morning to fish for Chinook and Coho salmon, and Shawn was an exceptional captain. I was a bit of a novice, and Shawn was incredibly patient and knowledgeable; he made sure we learned as we went along and had a great time. He also gave us excellent advice on places to visit around Tofino. And besides being a fantastic captain, Shawn is an outstanding musician and deserves to be famous! A wonderful experience from start to finish. We absolutely recommend this company! PS: We ate our catch at the Wickaninnish Inn; it's really not to be missed if you're staying there.

If Google allowed it, we would have given six stars to TFG. Our experience was incredible. We arrived just before 6 a.m. and Lochie had already prepared the boat with all the rods and tackle for the morning. Cap guided us with precision to the fish on several occasions. Lochie had a plan of attack with different options depending on the conditions and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was ready for the next bites. We highly recommend TFG for an excellent trip out at sea with an experienced and attentive guide. We'll be back!
