Established in 1976 in Armstrong Station, this family-owned business offers complete immersion in the heart of Wabakimi Provincial Park. Whether for guided or self-guided canoe trips, fishing trips for walleye, northern pike, and trout, or moose hunting, the options are diverse. Accommodations include a road-accessible lodge on Mattice Lake, the Spruce Forest Lakeside Retreat residence, and six remote camps accessible by floatplane or train. It is the ideal place to observe boreal wildlife, particularly woodland caribou.

The territory extends across the vast Wabakimi Wilderness Area, a five-million-acre boreal space preserved north of Lake Superior. Shaped by ancient glaciers and the ancestral Lake Agassiz, the terrain is characterized by exposed rock, sand, gravel, and a dense water network composed of a multitude of lakes and rivers, including the Albany River to the north. This isolated and wild environment is home to a preserved boreal forest inhabited by woodland caribou and moose. Access to this roadless protected area is primarily by air via floatplane or by train.
