Waltonian Inn

The Waltonian Inn has by far the finest beach on lac Nippissing. Its white sand is so fine that it feels like walking on flour. The cottages are equipped with a stove, a full-size refrigerator, and a barbecue with a full propane tank. Bring your picnic and enjoy! A boat launch and a marina are at your disposal to dock your watercraft during your stay. Outdoor fire pits will allow you to end the day in style, and start all over again the next day. The water is warm, clear, and shallow, ideal for families. A few nearby food trucks offer poutines prepared to your liking. The Waltonian Inn is a fabulous retro spot where it is great to recharge. If I could give it more than five stars, I would do so without hesitation. Don't miss this unique opportunity!

An absolutely breathtaking place. John and Karen are wonderful people, super nice, and very attentive to guests' needs. They offer a multitude of activities in all kinds of weather, and that view is breathtaking! Waking up every morning, rain or shine, facing this magnificent panorama 😍😍 We were a group of adults and stayed in the 16-sleeper cottage. The layout of the cottage is perfect and we fully intend to come back with our kids next time! Thank you for giving us four unforgettable days and for putting up with our music on the beach ⛱️

John and Karen are exceptional hosts and incredibly kind. John is a true fishing expert and will know how to advise you on the best fishing spots in the area. As for Karen, she is always ready to meet your every need with a smile. The beach, swimming, view, sunsets, and fishing were simply magnificent. I had a wonderful week and can't wait to go back next year. This time, I will rent other cabins with friends, that's for sure!
