Jacquie and I spent a week in September 2025 and we had a wonderful stay. As soon as we arrived, we were amazed by the roaring of the rapids on the Grass River flowing into Wekusko Falls, right in front of our cabin located on the edge of these rapids. Brian and Ellie are exceptional hosts, always taking such good care of us. They even helped us get onto the boat to go out on lac Wekusko, as the water level was so low that, given our age, stepping down the 1.20 metres separating the dock from the boat was a bit difficult. We spotted bald eagles, many species of ducks, several deer, and even a wolverine during our outings. This was the sixth fishing lodge we've been to, and we really want to go back. The fishing wasn't very successful for us, unlike for others. But what a joy to be able to enjoy such pristine wilderness!

It is a really great place to stay. The lodge buildings are comfortable, both in terms of space and climate control, and boat access is excellent. There is good fishing in the area and beautiful scenery to admire. There is a lot of helicopter traffic due to the nearby forest fire fighting base, but the cabins are fairly well soundproofed. A truly exceptional lodge.
