My first hunt goes back to 2018. I had just returned from a trip to Argentina, at a lodge with butlers, crystal glassware and china, steam showers and bidets! As a beginner hunter, I didn't ask many questions, because Sherwood had been highly recommended to me… I saw tents, cots, an outdoor shower and outhouses. Two days later, I had never been so dirty nor slept so well! The food was good, the schedule flexible and the guides excellent. I came home with two nice bears (including a blond bear of my dreams) and unforgettable memories. I have been back five times since. I brought my two sons and a nephew who had never shot a gun! Everyone came home with a trophy and thrilled. Sherwood is a great option for a family experience.

Tyler has an exceptional operation and his hunting territory is ideally located. I had no problems with the locals because his camps are too remote for them to get to. We went in on horseback, which changes everything for a mountain hunt. We spotted several legal rams and, after three days, I was able to close the deal and head home with a magnificent specimen. His guides are very knowledgeable and he knows exactly where to send them. A fantastic experience!

I have hunted several times with Sherwood Outfitters and have always had a great time. The food was delicious. My guide, Duke, did a wonderful job putting me in the best spots to hunt bear. I harvested two bears on every trip. The fishing was a nice bonus; look at the picture of the northern pike! You will also find pictures of my brown bear and my big black bear. There is also a picture of a bear right in front of my stand. I highly recommend hunting with Tyler and his team.

I hunted with Tyler in September 2024. I shot my ram on the seventh day. Sherwood Outfitters is one of the best outfits I have hunted with, and even better than most. I was 64 years old during this hunt to complete my 3/4 Grand Slam, so I have hunted with a lot of people in my life. My guide, Aaron Evans, got me within 143 metres of my ram, a magnificent specimen!
