Good to know
With over 25 years of experience, Carter Outfitting offers high-end guided hunting expeditions in Alberta. Accompanied by passionate guides under the direction of Scott Carter, you can hunt Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep as well as white-tailed and mule deer in agricultural zones. Trips are tailored for both rifle and bow hunting, while providing comfortable accommodations. To ensure attentive service and a high success rate, the number of hunters welcomed each year remains intentionally limited.
The operated territories cover two distinct environments in Alberta. On one side, the majestic Rocky Mountains offer rugged terrain and a wilderness environment ideal for Bighorn sheep, requiring travel on foot or horseback. On the other side, Alberta's farmlands present an open and wooded landscape, perfect for tracking large mule and white-tailed deer. This diversity of terrain allows for hunting in both high mountain and rural areas.

Scott is a great guy and his outfitting operation is exceptional! Several of my close friends have hunted sheep with him and I just booked another deer hunt myself. I highly recommend him!

Excellent trophy quality and high success rate in your areas, great charisma and irreproachable attitude from your entire team at camp. I have personally known Scott for over 15 years and I have nothing but praise for him. In 2023, I was lucky enough to hunt bighorn sheep on my third day of hunting. I am thrilled with my hunt and my trophy. Thank you Scarter.

I had an extraordinary hunt in 2024. After a lot of effort, I finally harvested a magnificent ram. A wonderful experience! I recommend Scott to my friends without hesitation, and I already have. He is an excellent sheep hunter and his guides are exceptional. They possess great experience and deep knowledge of the area. I would love so much to be back in those mountains right now.

I had an unforgettable hunting experience with Carter. His guides are excellent and the area is beautiful; tracking bighorn sheep is an extraordinary adventure. I was able to complete my double with Carter Outfitting, and Wyatt Fellows was my guide. An exceptional outfitter, a truly unique hunt.
