Boats leave from the Domaine's activity dock; canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating and paddle boarding take place on the Domaine's canal and along the north-west shore of the lake. A right of way giving access to the boat ramp and parking is billed separately: $30 + tax per day, or $150 for the season. Dock slip rental: $35 per day, or $35 per foot at the seasonal rate.

Domaine du Lac Saint-Pierre is an outfitter-and-campground set at Louiseville, on the north-west shore of Lac Saint-Pierre, in the heart of the Lac Saint-Pierre World Biosphere Reserve — a Ramsar site where 288 species of resident and migratory birds can be observed. Guests fish for walleye and sturgeon on guided 4-hour or 8-hour outings, settle into a heated hut for winter ice fishing, and hunt ducks from equipped blinds set along the shores, right in the migratory flight path; white-tailed deer hunting is offered as well. In summer the estate rents 25 HP motorboats, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and paddle
boards, and runs a 2-hour boat safari into 'Les Bayous du Nord', the flooded-forest archipelago listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lodging covers every style: campsites with or without services along the canal, a fully equipped chalet and loft, CoolBox micro-cabins, and glamping tents with a King bed, kitchen, bathroom and waterside deck. On site, the Le Bayou bar and its food truck serve cocktails and bites facing the sunset.

Très belle endroit, super bien accueilli comme si nous étions de la famille. Nous avons fait le safari dans le Bayou et wow! C'était magnifique! Jean-Francois prends le temps de nous connaître, nous jaser, nous expliquer l'histoire du lac st-pierre et de sa biodiversité. Il a une très grande connaissance en ornithologie, c'était vraiment fascinant l'écouter nous décrire chaque espèce que nous croisions. Nous avons même eu la chance de voir plusieurs pygargue à tête blanche. Une très belle activité que nous recommandons!

Très bien reçu par David et Luc pour notre journée de pêche sur glace. Tres bien conseillé et servis, superbe attitude envers mon fils de 10 ans qui a adoré.

Nous avons fait le safari Bayou du lac St-Pierre, Très bel accueil : le personnel était avenant et s'occupaient bien de nous, notre guide était Jean-François ! Super balade en bayou pour observer des oiseaux, admirer la flore, les arbres tricentenaire et autres beautés du paysage. On a adoré ! Les oiseaux (aigrettes,hérons, aigles, balbuzard et autres étaient au rendez-vous (safari de 14h à 16h00). Jean-François nous expliquait plusieurs choses sur le lac, les oiseaux, les phares, la construction du chenail,les.maisons sur pilotis, etc. Il s'assurait souvent que nous étions contents de la balade. On recommande ce beau safari !
