On the sandy shores of the Baskatong Reservoir in the Outaouais, Camping Union Baskatong – Pourvoirie Chez Rainville has welcomed anglers, campers and vacationers for more than 50 years. The number-one activity here is walleye fishing — abundant and top-quality — served by the largest rental-boat fleet on the Baskatong: over 300 km² of navigable water and some 2,500 km of shoreline to explore. Lodging runs to 24 units with direct or partial lake views — 21 fully equipped chalets with 1 to 4 closed bedrooms (living room, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, several renovated or air-conditioned), 2 rental trailers, a
refuge and a two-bedroom motel — plus 229 campsites with 2 or 3 services, lakeside or seasonal, including the widest selection of pull-through lots with a water view. The 7th night is free on a week-long stay. On site: a full marina with a boat ramp, rentals of motorboats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards, a beach with a giant inflatable water toy, a children's park, a covered marquee, horseshoe pits, pétanque courts, an observation lookout and EV charging stations. Five hiking trails are within a 20 km radius and a federated ATV trail runs less than 500 metres away. The 2026 season runs from May 15 to October 12.

Très beau terrain de camping. Une multitude d'activités pour les enfants. Plage très accessible et surveillée. Resto sur place. Deux petits bémols: nos emplacements de camping étaient moyennement propres à l'arrivée, beaucoup de vieux mégots de cigarettes, canettes de bières, etc. Aussi les terrains, en tous les cas D4-D5-D6 sont bien placés mais vraiment pas de niveau.

Un magnifique séjour en famille au Baskatong. Un chalet d’une parfaite grandeur, propre et bien aménagé pour deux adultes et deux petits enfants. Super emplacement avec une belle vue, terrain bien aménagé en nature avec petit BBQ, coin feu, grand balcon, table à pique-nique, etc. En période de chaleur, un ventilateur au plafond aurait été agréable, mais il s’agit que du seul point à améliorer pour le chalet. Nous avions loué une chaloupe à moteur, en très bon état qui s’est avérée être essentielle durant notre séjour pour visiter les nombreuses iles. La pêche a été assez difficile malgré notre persévérance et nos tentatives nombreuses. Le personnel a été super agréable, très aimable et courtois. Merci pour les beaux souvenirs !

Très beau site de camping, les douches très propres ainsi que les toilettes . Parc pour enfant récent. Nous y sommes rester 5 nuits en tente roulotte et avons tellement le calme de l'endroit que nous avons acheté un saisonniers pour l'été prochain !
