The story of Domaine La Vallée des Rosiers began in 2001 when Caroline, a preschool and elementary teacher, and her partner, a timber scaler and wildlife technician, settled in the Pontiac region of Otter Lake by acquiring a 200-acre estate. Passionate about mushing since childhood and wishing to honor the memory of his uncle François Bruneau, the founder began dog sledding operations in 2004 with Mouki, a dog inherited from his uncle.
