Meeting point at the dome ('RV au dôme'): you are met there and escorted to your chalet. After the bridge, keep left. Gas station and convenience store 19 km away; restaurant 25 km away (Kazabazua).

The outfitter

Le Picanoc is a four-season resort and outfitter that runs entirely on solar power, set on the shore of Lac Earley in Kazabazua, in the Outaouais. Only two brand-new high-end chalets share the lake: two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, BBQ and outdoor fire pit, sleeping up to six, with a motorboat, two paddle boards and two kayaks included per chalet. You swim right in front of the chalet, paddle whitewater on the Picanoc River, walk the hiking trails and fish for smallmouth bass (catch and release) and pike on the lake. On the hunting side, the

outfitter works 1,600 acres of private land in Zone 10 West, with access to crown land in a controlled environment and 26 blinds fitted with cameras, salt licks and feeding stations: moose, white-tailed deer and black bear, plus guided wild turkey and Canada goose packages on farmland held under exclusive rights. Walleye fishing is available on request. Open 12 months a year.
