inland sea of 320 km², 96 metres deep, dotted with more than 160 islands and ringed by 2,800 km of mostly sandy shoreline: it is fished for walleye and pike, but also whitefish, yellow sturgeon, lake trout and, for a few years now, landlocked salmon; fishing guides can be booked. The La Pointe à David marina, where Les Deux Ours guests pick up their craft, rents boats, motors, pontoons and pedal boats and sells gas, propane, bait and ice. Sailing, kayaking, canoeing, kitesurfing, boat outings, a restaurant, a convenience store and a conference room round out the complex, run by three generations of the Lafrance family.
