Pourvoirie Claude Gravelle is a hunting outfitter based in Otter Lake, in the Outaouais (Zone 10 West), operating for more than 56 years. A family business spanning four generations of Gravelles, it is now run by Daniel and Kathy Gravelle. You hunt white-tailed deer in the fall (two weeks of archery in October, two weeks of rifle in November) and black bear over baited sites, by bow or rifle. The territory is large and regularly baited, reachable by many paths — some sites 15 minutes away, others an hour out or ATV-only — and trail cameras watch certain baits (photos

on request). Lodging is in new RV-based camps (a double bed and four bunk beds, propane stove, fridge, electricity, cold non-potable water, dishes and utensils provided). The outfitter welcomes American and Canadian hunters, from beginners to experts, and a non-hunting companion gets a discounted rate. Deer and bear hunts are offered on the European (self-catered) plan; an American plan with three meals a day is available for the bear hunt.
