Operating since 1941 on the bank of the Lièvre river in Bowman, in the Outaouais, Pourvoirie de la Lièvre rents ten rustic cabins built largely from the mature trees that once lined the river. Equipped, insulated and warm, they sleep from 1 to 16 people depending on the unit: full kitchen, wood stove and firewood, bathroom, basic bedding provided, WiFi and BBQ, with campfires, a beach, a boat launch and marked hiking trails on site. On the hunting side, an exclusive agro-forestry territory of more than 15,000 acres is set aside for guided wild-turkey hunting, with a success rate close
to perfect, and exclusive 15 km² zones are assigned per party for white-tailed deer, their bait sites already active and fitted with tree stands. On the fishing side, the owner guides outings for walleye, pike and bass on the surrounding waters, a private lake full of brook trout and smallmouth bass can be worked from a rowboat, and winter brings all-inclusive ice-fishing packages with drilled holes, hut and gear. Add canoe, kayak, motorboat and snowshoe rentals, 35 km of calm river to travel and a regional park a few kilometres away.

On vient de passer une semaine de vacances inoubliable dans un chalet au bord de l'eau avec une vu magnifique. La pourvoirie au Lac Long une expérience de rêve ou je veux retourner a tout moment. Personnelles très gentille et serviable.

Nous revenons d'un séjour de 2jrs dans le magnifique chalet Le Poisson. Tout récent et les essentiels y sont. Lits très confortables. Comme ils le mentionnent apporter vos draps et couverture/sleeping. Oublié de prendre des photos mais celles sur le site le representent bien. Si la descente est trop apique et pas assez longue, comme pour nous, ils y en a 2 munipales très proche . La rivière est magnifique, on s'est baigné au large et Jean-Philippe se fera un plaisir de vous parler des spots de pêche et hasards. Si en été, apportez 2 ventilateurs pour aider la circulation avec l'air climatisé. Apportez votre eau car tel que mentionné sur leur site même si potable elle a une odeur. Profitez-en.

Vraiment un bel endroit ! Le chalet est neuf et tout était propre, les lits et les oreillers super confortables. Nous avons loué une chaloupe, tout était en ordre, tous les services à proximité et de bons restes en plus. Proprios présents et prêts à aider au besoin. Petit plus qui aurait été bien agréable...un spa, pour finir la journée bien relax!
