Leaf River Estuary Lodge is located in Northern Québec, in Nunavik, near the Inuit village of Tasiujaq. The operating territory is centered on the estuary of the rivière aux Feuilles (Leaf River), a remote northern area where the river’s waters meet the marine environment. The estuary stretches between two waterfalls. The main falls, with a height of about 10 metres, are located near the coordinates 58° 47′ N, 70° 15′ W. Upstream of these falls, the rivière aux Feuilles is made up of pure fresh water. Downstream, the water is brackish and its salinity varies depending on the tidal range.

The outfitter offers a range of guided experiences focused on sport fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, and winter adventures. In summer and fall, the main activity is guided fishing in the estuary of the rivière aux Feuilles, targeting Arctic char, Atlantic salmon and sea trout. An experienced Inuit guide accompanies each group of two to three anglers aboard motorized freight canoes. The techniques practiced include fly fishing (streamers, shrimp or rodent imitations) and light spinning with spoons.
