The aquatic environment centers on two major bodies of water, Lake Maxime and Lake Robert, which cover a distance of over 13 kilometers. The lake system features bays, islands, and preserved natural shorelines. The territory is home to fish populations adapted to these northern Quebec waters, primarily walleye and northern pike. The bays and underwater structures of Lakes Maxime and Robert provide a favorable habitat for the growth and
feeding of these species. On land, the coniferous forest shelters a variety of wildlife. Moose are present in abundance, benefiting from vast areas of forest cover. Black bears are also found within the territory. For small game, the natural environment supports populations of grouse as well as snowshoe hares.

De retour d'un séjour de chasse à l'orignal. Notre première expérience en pourvoirie et certainement pas la dernière à la Pourvoirie Maxime. Un bel endroit et des super proprios. Notre chalet était parfait, propre et avec tout ce qu'on avait besoin. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.
