The establishment opens directly onto Philomène Bay, a calm area sheltered from the winds and located in the immediate vicinity of a walleye spawning ground, while offering direct access to the original Baskatong Lake, Sand Bay, and the entire reservoir. This preserved aquatic and forest territory maintains a wild character where a very diverse range of flora and fauna flourishes. The waters of the
Baskatong Reservoir, managed by a Community Wildlife Area (AFC), host a rich aquatic fauna. Anglers will find walleye and sauger, northern pike, landlocked salmon, yellow perch, whitefish, and sturgeon. A small pike lake is also accessible on the outfitter's territory. On land and in the air, the sector located in Zone 11 East welcomes white-tailed deer, moose, black bear, and small game, notably ruffed grouse and hare. The region also provides opportunities to observe various mammals such as fox, fisher, raccoon, and beaver. Numerous bird species frequent the surrounding natural environment, including eagles, hummingbirds, ducks, and Canada geese.

Sport fishing takes place on the Baskatong Reservoir from the third Friday of May to October 15 for the summer season, and from December 21 to March 31 for ice fishing. The marina offers boat launching, dock spaces, gas sales, ice, worms, fishing tackle, and AFC permits, as well as a fish cleaning station. On adore l’endroit, c’est calme, super beau, pis le lac est vraiment impressionnant. On a pogné du doré, du brochet, de l’ouananiche et de la perchaude. On y va à chaque année, Éric et Sylvie sont toujours là pour aider, super gentils et accueillants. Recommandé à 100 % ! On a déjà hâte d’y retourner !

J'adore cet endroit! Les propriétaires nous font sentir comme chez soi dès l'arrivée, tellement qu'on ne voudrait jamais repartir! La pêche est bonne, la nature superbe, le prix honnête et c'est juste assez petit pour ne pas croiser une foule d'humains si on en n'a pas envie! 😅 De vraies vacances quoi!
