The outfitter

Pavillon Wapus is a family business founded in 1967 by the Rousseau family and passed down through the generations for more than 50 years. The exclusive territory spans 272 km² of trails, lakes, rivers and forests in the Outaouais (zone 14), around Lake Mc Arthur. You can catch walleye, pike, brook trout and lake trout on a single stay, across more than 30 carefully managed lakes (catch-and-release of spawners for over 30 years); the fishing season runs from mid-May to the end of September. For hunting, Wapus offers moose on exclusive territories of about 10 km² (one moose per party,

C'est comme arriver à notre chalet, avec en plus des gens accueillants ! Très belle pourvoirie, avec de beaux chalets tous rénovés, des grandes chaloupes et moteurs flambants neufs qui partent à tout coups... L'essayer, c'est l'adopter ! Merci Sophie, Josée et Simon !!

Visité Septembre 2021 Pourvoirie très bien. Les chalet proche de l'accueil sont très bien et très propre. Beau choix de lac parmis un bon nombre. Qui offre la possibilité de pêcher le Doré, le Brochet, la truite grise et la truite moucheté. Mais pour cette dernière je vous conseille d'apporter un 4 roues pour pouvoir aller sur les lacs de moucheté. Personnelle très aimable, et la propriétaire et de très bon conseil. Elle connait très bien ses lacs.Vous en êtes a votre première visite, écouter ses conseil. Vous allez sauvée beaucoup de temps, surtout pour le doré. Pour monté vous aurez 98km de gravier a faire. Me ce fait relativement bien. Chemin large et relativement bien entretenu. Les chaloupes sont belles et les moteurs en excellente condition. Vous n'aurez pas à vous batte avec pour les faires démarrer et a les utiliser. Aussi ce qui est appréciéable ils fournissent des tanks a essence a branchement direct sur le moteur. Donc évite a avoir besoin de joué dans le gas pour remplir les moteurs.

Belle pourvoirie! Très beau plan d’eau, nous avons pêché une trentaine de dorés en quelques jours. Le guide de pêche, Alex, est passionné et super gentil! Nous avons moins apprécié le fait que notre chalet du pavillon central soit à une dizaine de minutes en voiture du quai où sont les bateaux. Également, nous avons trouvé le chalet petit. Pour un groupe de 7-8, il serait préférable de louer deux chalets.

De retour de 6 jours de pur bonheur, le personnel est très accueillant et professionnel, j’ai adoré le concept de réservation de lac à truite, la chaloupe et le moteur tous disponibles sur le site. Le chalet est tout compris, propre, il y a même une douche avec eau chaude à l’extérieur!!! j’ai séjourné au chalet Sophie sur l’île, merveilleux!!! Lac McLennan très bien balisé, ils ont mis des repères aux endroits dangereux, même ceux qui ne sont pas présents sur navionnics. Merci beaucoup à vous pour ce voyage mémorable!!!
