This wilderness region teems with walleye, lake trout and northern pike: walleye over 24 inches are caught and released every week, secluded bays hold trophy pike, and a nearby lake reached by a short portage is almost exclusively dedicated to pike. For hunters, the protected forest territory within the Kipawa ZEC supports healthy black bear and moose
populations. The 9 cabins are fully equipped (propane stoves, fridges, wood stoves for heat, cold running water and electricity), most with screened-in porches and a dock, and sleep from 4 to 16 people.
