The cabins are accessible by paved road yet keep the privacy of a natural lakeside setting: each has a unique view of Lake Kipawa, facing east where the sun rises. Fully furnished and sleeping 2 to 8 people, they include a 3-piece bathroom, a hot water heater, a fridge and stove, pots and dishes, a BBQ, a dock and a screened-in fish cleaning station. Open from June to September,
they invite you to design your own stay: fishing, exploring and relaxing by the water. Reservations are required.

What more can be said that other reviews haven't already said? This place is ideal for fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the company of family and friends. Wayne and Barb are exceptional hosts. You will always feel welcome, from your arrival at the Kipawa dock until your departure. The boats and motors run flawlessly. The cabins are rustic but comfortable and equipped with everything you need. I have been fishing all over Ontario for over 20 years and, in my opinion, this place is truly special. I have no intention of going anywhere else. Thanks again Wayne and Barb.

Wayne and Barb welcomed us warmly at Kipawa Lodge. The boats and their motors were in excellent condition, gas was easy to get, and every boat was equipped with a fish finder. Our cabin was comfortable and well-equipped with cooking utensils. The fishing was excellent, and maps of the best fishing spots were provided to us. Don't forget to get your ZEC fishing license in Kipawa before the 45-minute boat ride to the lodge. If you are looking for an authentic wilderness experience, Kipawa Lodge is for you.

We were lucky enough to discover Kipawa Lodge and spend a week there in August 2020. This trip allowed my family to regain a semblance of normalcy thanks to a great, much-needed summer vacation. The accommodations and fishing were excellent, Barb and Wayne, our hosts, took wonderful care of us, and above all, the magnificent scenery and quiet of the place made this family getaway a true joy. Leaving was hard. We can't wait to go back next year. I highly recommend Kipawa Lodge to families and anyone looking for an authentic Canadian North getaway. Hard to beat! My only regret: not going sooner!
