Big Canon Lake Lodge is a century-old site managed by the Guse family for three generations in Northwestern Ontario. Visitors enjoy American Plan stays including three daily meals and traditional shore lunches. Accommodations are provided in private cabins equipped with full bathrooms, continuous electricity, and wood-burning stoves. Anglers target walleye, smallmouth bass, lake trout, muskie, and northern pike on the main lake, the Wabigoon River, and five portage lakes.
Located 25 miles northwest of Vermilion Bay in Northwestern Ontario, the territory extends around Big Canon Lake. This spring-fed body of water measures approximately three to four miles wide by eight miles long, covering an area of 8.8 square miles with over 75 miles of deep, crystal-clear shoreline. The estate also includes the Wabigoon River system and five portage lakes. This remote wilderness environment is accessible only by floatplane.
