C'était ma première fois dans ce lodge, sur le même lac qu'il y a 30 ans, et ce fut l'un des meilleurs voyages que j'aie jamais faits. Les bateaux étaient parfaits pour pêcher à deux. La nourriture au lodge était toujours excellente, que ce soit le steak ou le poulet : savoureux et copieux. Les chalets étaient confortables et bien équipés. Le personnel était exceptionnel : Pat, Alex, Zak, Lisa et Val se sont mis en quatre pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous. « Big North Ben », notre guide, nous a permis de pêcher du doré jaune, qu'il a cuisiné au déjeuner et dont personne ne se souviendra. Le lac a été à la hauteur de nos attentes : nous avons régulièrement attrapé de beaux spécimens. La pluie nous a donné du fil à retordre, mais nous avons persévéré chaque jour. Si vous cherchez à vivre des moments inoubliables, c'est l'endroit idéal. J'ajouterais que Val mérite d'être élue employée du mois : elle a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Nous avons hâte de pouvoir y retourner bientôt… MERCI !!!!

Mes deux fils et moi avons passé plusieurs excellents séjours au Big North Lodge. Nourriture, service, accueil et pêche de première qualité. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner !

Ce voyage était tout simplement incroyable ! Quatorze pères et leurs fils ont fait un vol de quatre nuits jusqu'au lac Rogers, et certains ont prolongé leur séjour de trois nuits au lodge principal de Big North. Du service impeccable qui nous a aidés à préparer notre premier vol, au chalet incroyable de Rogers et à l'encadrement constant des novices par Alex et Zack, tout était vraiment exceptionnel. Le plus fou, c'est que la pêche était encore plus incroyable. Tout le monde a attrapé un nombre impressionnant de poissons : des achigans à petite bouche, des brochets et des dorés de taille record. Les dorés étaient si nombreux et si gros que nous en attrapions régulièrement en pêchant le brochet. C'était fou ! Notre voyage ne s'est pas arrêté à Rogers : la pêche et le service étaient tout simplement exceptionnels à Big North. La nourriture était délicieuse, l'hébergement était fantastique et la pêche, incroyable. Mon fils a attrapé un brochet monstrueux et deux maskinongés ! Big North, un immense merci pour ce voyage inoubliable. Mon fils est conquis ! À bientôt ! Mike

The best trip I’ve been on!!! We traveled with a group of 14 guys and everyone at Big North Lodge exceeded all expectations and their owners/staff could not have been more hospitable! Zach, Val and Dave were who I saw regularly and they took care of everything. This ranged from getting our boats ready with gas, bait, etc., or cooking breakfast/dinner, packing coolers for the day out on the boat, picking up misc. things in town while we were fishing, cleaning our cabins and leaving fresh linens daily. The cabins were very comfortable and clean! The fishing was amazing and we made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you again to Big North Lodge and staff!

Nous avons passé un super moment et avons pêché de beaux brochets. Aucun ne faisait moins de 50 cm ! Nos deux plus gros mesuraient 85 cm et ce magnifique brochet de 91 cm ! On reviendra :)
