Cedar Island Lodge, managed by the Baker family, is a fishing outfitter located on a private three-acre island in the middle of Pipestone Lake in Northwestern Ontario. Nestled in the heart of Sunset Country, this property surrounded by cedars and pines offers a natural setting ideal for wildlife viewing, where visitors may encounter moose, deer, bears, otters, wolves, bald eagles, and loons. The outfitter is renowned for its multi-species fishing on Pipestone Lake. rentals, fuel, live bait, experienced guide services, and fishing license sales. For accommodation, the estate features four cabins with knotty pine interiors. They are equipped with full kitchens, private bathrooms with cedar showers, fresh linens, and wood or propane heating. Stays are available as self-catering (European Plan) or American Plan with home-cooked meals served in the lodge dining room, including grilled T-bone steaks and roast turkey dinners. The main lodge offers free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a sunroom, and a deck overlooking the lake. Outdoor facilities include a walking trail circling the island, wooden boardwalks, an evening campfire area, and an additional main shower house.
