Centre du Pourvoyeur Mastigouche is a family-run, century-old outfitter in Mandeville, in the Lanaudière region — heir to the 'Mastigouche Fishing & Game Club' that has operated since 1881. Bought by John Koubek when Quebec abolished private clubs in 1971, the estate is run today by Helen Koubek. Anglers come for lake trout and (native) speckled trout on Lac la Chute and the surrounding lakes, staying in cabins (European or American plan) or in the rustic lodge. The site also welcomes family vacations and swimming, and serves as a snowmobile relay in winter. In the fall (October to December), moose,
deer, hare and ruffed-grouse hunting are offered. The century-old lodge also has a reception hall for weddings and group events. Several films were shot here (Grey Owl, Les Boys 4) and the estate has hosted many celebrities.

Pourvoirie très bien pour le prix vraiment belle expérience. Amenez votre moteur électrique c'est emplement suffisant pour une belle experience de pêche à la moucheté.

C'est un endroit paradisiaque. Ancien site de chalets pour riches américains, construit fin années 1800, début 1900. Vue exceptionnelle, un beau lac, loins de toutes routes. Donc, très silencieux. Malheureusement, lors de notre passage, le chemin pour se rendre au site était dans un très mauvais état. Vous voulez êtres dépaysés, passer du temps de qualité en famille, avec ou sans enfants, vous allez adorer. Retour vers le futur, version vacances..

Merci pour ce beau séjour. Magnifique endroit. La vue est superbe. Petit chalet rustique sur le bord de l'eau. La propriétaire est très sympathique ainsi que tous les visiteurs. Très calme et très propre. Nous y retournerons.

Quelle merveilleuse expérience que cette pourvoirie. Mon coup de cœur. Nous étions deux familles à séjourner pour deux nuits dans le chalet #7 les 5 et 6 juillet 2024. D'abord, la famille Koubek est d'un accueil exemplaire. Le site est tout simplement magnifique, enchanteur. Les chalets donne directement sur le lac, ce qui nous permet d'apprécier la vue dès le réveil. Les chalets sont très rustiques avec tout ce qu'il faut et c'est ce que nous avons le plus adoré. Un chalet doit être rustique, sinon ce n'est plus un chalet. Il y a assez d'espace pour tout le monde. Les lits étaient super confos. La route est un peu cahoteuse, mais ça va. Prévoyez la location des moteurs en sus. Nous y reviendrons c'est certain. Ce lieu est magique, hors du temps, comme je les aiment.
