Pourvoirie de l'Auberge Kempt Lodge sits entirely on islands in the large Kempt lake (reservoir), in northeastern Lanaudière, a few kilometres from the Mauricie. The Kempt reservoir is renowned for its fishing: lake trout, northern pike, walleye and yellow perch. On site, 3 chalets and 3 camps — comfortable, rustic, all built of round logs — sleep 3 to 10 people depending on the unit; being on islands, biting insects are far less of a nuisance.
