Travis and Carrie are the wonderful owners of Eagle Falls Lodge in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada. I have been staying there for four years and I always have an exceptional experience there. This drive-to fishing spot is very affordable considering the amenities offered. Located 885 km from Minneapolis, the drive is easy. Arrive on Saturday: you will be picked up by their 13.4 m (44 foot) barge, and after a 40-minute crossing, you will arrive at the lodge. Comfortable cabins, excellent home cooking, electricity, hot and cold water, as well as boats are available on two lakes. You can even bring your own. Fuel is provided if you wish. Five and a half days of fishing will allow you to land some great catches. You will notably find many northern pike over 75 to 100 cm and walleye over 50 cm. For $800, enjoy an unforgettable Canadian fishing experience without breaking the bank.
